Four smiles, before and after, all done in this office

Every photo here is a patient of ours, treated at 307 Maple Ave W.

  1. The smile at the top of this page

    Invisalign, whitening and composite veneers

She came in with an uneven bite and worn front edges. Invisalign for several months, then whitening, then Dr. Paino rebuilt the edges with composite veneers. Not a single shot.

  2. One missing tooth, replaced without an implant

Whitening, bonding and a Maryland bridge

Born missing one lateral incisor, with a small "peg" tooth on the other side, and too young for an implant. We whitened, bonded the small tooth and replaced the missing one with an all-porcelain Maryland bridge.

Close-up before: a gap where an upper side tooth is missing, and a small peg-shaped tooth on the other sideBefore
Close-up after: the gap filled by a porcelain bridge and the small tooth bonded to full size, all teeth whiterAfter
  3. A full makeover, designed on screen first

    A smile makeover, planned digitally

Chipped, worn and discolored teeth. We designed the new smile on screen, made a 3D mock-up she tried in and approved, then did the work while she slept, with our anesthesiologist.

The same patient after her smile makeover, with a full row of even, white teethAfter
  4. Chipped front teeth, made whole in composite

    Chipped front teeth, bonded

Chipped front teeth repaired with composite bonding, shaped so the edge where old meets new is close to invisible.

Close-up before: two upper front teeth with chipped, uneven edgesBefore
Close-up after: the same front teeth with smooth, even edges rebuilt in composite bondingAfter

Composite veneers take one visit. No drilling and no shots, and you see the shape and shade before we start.

Nervous about the dentist

Sleep through it if you want to

  1. 1Laughing gas (nitrous oxide), which wears off before you leave
  2. 2Oral sedation
  3. 3IV sedation
  4. 4General anesthesia, given by board-certified anesthesiologists who come to our office

Tell us you're nervous and we'll pick the level of sedation with you, from laughing gas to full general anesthesia. All four happen here, in our office.

In the chair: TVs, blankets, pillows and noise-canceling headphones.

Nervous about coming in? Meet the doctor first on a Zoom call to talk through sedation.
